Karen Kiely

Assistant to Bernice, Yoga Teacher, Astrologer, Retreat Facilitator

Karen completed DTM’s Ecstatic DJ training in 2022 and joined the team in 2024 as Bernie’s assistant, helping with all the background admin to keep Dance the Medicine moving.

Dance and music have always played a strong role in her life, but it was while working in tech in the Bay Area and craving a more aligned and expansive existence that she discovered ecstatic dance in 2018.

Outside of her work with Dance the Medicine, Karen is a yoga teacher, astrologer, and retreat facilitator, and splits her time between San Francisco and her birthplace Cork, Ireland.
